Pastry Chef/Cook

De Toni Patisserie &Bakery is looking for a Pastry Chef/Cook to join our team

The Position is for a Full Time Pastry Chef/Cook.

Duties include:

-preparing and cooking desserts

-preparing and cooking savoury products (quiches, pies, tarts, puddings)

The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining strict kitchen procedures, including following Occupational Health and Safety, and Food Safety protocols, ordering of perishable goods, stock control and stock rotation, and ensuring that all mise-en-place within the pastry section has been completed to a high standard on a daily basis.

To be considered for this position, the applicant must have relevant qualifications and/or employment experience. Experience working as a pastry cook is required. The applicant must have had sufficient training and on-the-job experience to be able to work independently. The successful applicant needs to be able to work a flexible schedule.

Salary: $55.000-$60.000
